Who are we?

In 2017, two cousins with decades of family experience in the textile industry and a passion for the sun and the beach decided to revolutionize the beach towel concept. Gwery arises from this desire, founded to develop products that stand out for their originality, comfort and sustainability.

The launch of our beach towel collection, in the summer of 2019, was the culmination of a research and testing work, with results recognized by all those who wanted something different. We have beach towels with unique designs, rich textures and vibrant colours, the perfect fusion between Portuguese inspiration and historical home textile tradition. The result is what we defend as the authentic “Portuguese Beach Towel”.

Driven by the popularity of our beach towels, we created a range of organic blankets in December 2019. Thanks to their soft colours and enviable delicacy, our blankets are the perfect company for moments of great comfort.
